It was a truly special and emotional project for us at Streetcandy Miniature Automobilie when actress Anumol approached us with a heartfelt request. She wanted two custom-built Mahindra CJ models, not just as collectibles, but as a tribute to her father and the cherished memories of her childhood. These jeeps were more than vehicles—they were a part of her life story, carrying moments of joy, family, and nostalgia.
Understanding the depth of her connection, we carefully worked on recreating the two Mahindra CJ models with complete attention to authenticity and emotion. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the essence of the original vehicles she grew up with. Our goal was not just to build models, but to bring her memories back to life in a tangible form—something she could hold, see, and relive.
The handover day turned out to be an unforgettable experience for our team. Anumol welcomed us warmly, and what started as a simple delivery turned into a meaningful interaction that lasted over 40 minutes. She shared stories, emotions, and memories connected to the jeeps, making the moment even more personal and rewarding for us as creators.
This project also marks a proud milestone for Streetcandy—our very first celebrity series model delivery. It has given us immense motivation and confidence to take on more such meaningful projects in the future.
